Summary of stainless steel bearing seat manufacturers: Bearings are the main components of machines, and the flexibility of machine operation mainly depends on the assembly quality of stainless steel bearings. To ensure assembly quality, disassembly and assembly methods should be mastered.
1、 Dismantling of bearings
1. Disassembly of sliding bearings and bearing shells
The arms of sliding bearings are generally thin and prone to damage and strain. When disassembling, first remove the fixing screws and pins around the bearings. For bearings with locating flanges, attention should be paid to the disassembly direction after separating the stainless steel bearing cover from the bearing seat. When disassembling tiles, copper or wooden rods should be used to support the steel back of the bearing end face, and attention should be paid to protecting the alloy layer. Sleeve type bearing shells should be removed or pressed out using disassembly tools, and should not be forcefully knocked to avoid deformation and damage to the bearing shells.
2. Disassembly of rolling bearings
Before disassembling the rolling bearing, it is necessary to check and determine the disassembly direction, and pay attention to the presence of axial positioning devices. When disassembling the bearing from the shaft, the force point should be selected on the inner ring of the bearing; When disassembling from the hole, the force point should be selected on the outer ring of the bearing, and the force should be evenly applied during disassembly to prevent the bearing from tilting.
2、 Installation of bearings
1. Installation of sleeve type sliding bearings
Ensure appropriate clearance between the shaft and bearings during installation to facilitate the formation of lubricating oil film. The bearings and seat holes should have appropriate tightness to prevent the bearings from rotating with the shaft during operation. The specific requirements are as follows:
① Before pressing, check whether the dimensions of each part of the bearing meet the requirements, whether there are any defects, clean the dirt on the contact surface, apply lubricating oil, clean the oil passage, and align it with the oil passage holes on the body.
② Choose appropriate tools during installation based on the position of stainless steel bearings on the machine body and the size of the bearings.
③ After the bearing is pressed, fixed screws or pins should be added to non interference fit parts, and the inner diameter should be checked for compliance. If deformation occurs, it must be repaired, usually using boring, reaming, and scraping methods.
2. Installation of split sliding bearings
① Split sliding bearings are commonly referred to as bearing shells. Before installation, the oil passage, oil groove, and various mating surfaces should be cleaned, and the oil holes on the bearing seat and bearing shell should be checked for alignment. Pay attention to removing the rust proof wax on the bearing parts, do not burn it with fire to avoid melting the metal due to high temperature. It should be melted in hot water or oil and cleaned thoroughly.
② When installing the bearing, a wooden board should be placed on the end face of the bearing, and then a copper rod should be used to gently hit the bearing into the bearing seat. The outer surface of the bearing should be tightly connected to the bearing seat and cover, otherwise the bearing is prone to deformation, or the alloy layer may break or even fall off. To ensure a tight fit of the bearing shell, its separating surface should be slightly higher than the bearing separating surface (usually 0.05-0.mm).
③ The bearing shells are installed into the machine body and are not allowed to move axially or radially. They are generally fixed with locating pins, protruding key stops, or steps. The assembly contact surface of the bearing shell is required to be between 70% and 75%.
3. Installation of rolling bearings
① Before installation, the raceway and oil passage of the stainless steel bearing shaft hole should be cleaned thoroughly, and the bearings that need lubrication should be coated with lubricating oil.
② Do not let dirt fall into the bearing ring during installation to avoid damaging the rolling element and rolling surface.
③ Check whether the fit interference of the inner and outer rings of the bearing meets the standard as required.
④ When installing and using special tools, apply pressure evenly on the seat ring with a tight fitting surface to prevent the bearing from tilting.
⑤ When installing stainless steel bearings with large interference, they should not be struck violently and should be assembled using a press or heating method.
⑥ After the installation of the bearing, it should be checked whether its end face is tightly attached to the bearing surface of the shaft or seat shoulder, whether it rotates flexibly, and whether there is any jamming phenomenon
The above is the relevant knowledge about the disassembly and installation of stainless steel bearings, hoping to be helpful to everyone.
