Compared to bronze, zinc alloy bearing seats have the following advantages:
1. The strength, hardness, and allowable pressure are comparable to aluminum bronze, widely exceeding tin, lead, etc., and the allowable speed is similar. It can fully meet the usage conditions of independent anti friction and wear-resistant parts such as bearings.
2. It has a strong affinity for lubricating oil and better self-lubricating properties. In addition, its metallurgical properties (low melting point, less likely to metallurgical bond with steel shafts) make it more resistant to adhesion and more prominent in reducing friction and wear during use.
3. Low friction coefficient, low wear, and therefore longer service life. Under the same usage conditions, it is generally more than twice the size of copper tiles, thereby reducing the procurement cost of accessories.
4. High thermal conductivity (ZnAl27Cu2Mgλ=25, ZCuAl0Fe3λ=59), fast heat dissipation, slow and low surface temperature rise, providing better protection against paired friction.
5. The material density is low (ZnAl27Cu2Mgρ=5g/cm3), and the product quality is light (light/3 of the same model and specification), making installation and maintenance easier and more convenient.
6. It has high damping characteristics and is resistant to vibration and noise.
