1、 Dismantling of stainless steel bearing seat
1. Disassembly of sliding bearing seat and bearing shell
The arm of the sliding bearing seat is generally thin and prone to damage and strain. When disassembling, first remove the fixing screws and pins around the bearing seat. For bearing seats with locating flanges, attention should be paid to the disassembly direction after the stainless steel bearing seat cover is separated from the bearing seat. When disassembling tiles, copper or wooden rods should be used to support the steel back of the bearing end face, and attention should be paid to protecting the alloy layer. Sleeve type bearing shells should be removed or pressed out using disassembly tools, and should not be forcefully knocked to avoid deformation and damage to the bearing shells.
2. Disassembly of rolling bearing seat
Before disassembling the rolling bearing seat, check and determine the disassembly direction, and pay attention to the presence of axial positioning devices. When disassembling the bearing seat from the shaft, the force point should be selected on the inner ring of the bearing seat; Remove from hole
When disassembling, the force point should be selected on the outer ring of the bearing seat, and the force should be evenly applied to prevent the bearing seat from tilting.
2、 Installation of stainless steel bearing seat
1. Installation of sleeve type sliding bearing seat
Ensure appropriate clearance between the shaft and bearing seat during installation to facilitate the formation of lubricating oil film. The bearing seat and seat hole should have appropriate tightness to prevent the bearing seat from rotating with the shaft during operation. The specific requirements are as follows:
① Before pressing, check whether the dimensions of each part of the bearing seat meet the requirements, whether there are any defects, clean the dirt on the contact surface, apply lubricating oil, clean the oil passage, and align it with the oil passage holes on the body.
② Choose appropriate tools during installation based on the position of the stainless steel bearing seat on the machine body and the size of the bearing seat.
③ After the bearing seat is pressed, fixed screws or pins should be added to non interference fit parts, and the inner diameter should be checked to ensure it meets the requirements. If deformation occurs, it must be repaired, usually using boring, reaming, and scraping methods.
2. Installation of split sliding bearing seat
① The split sliding bearing seat is usually called the bearing shell. Before installation, the oil passage, oil groove, and all mating surfaces should be cleaned, and the oil holes on the bearing seat and the bearing shell should be checked to ensure they are aligned. Pay attention to removing the rust proof wax on the bearing parts, do not burn it with fire to avoid melting the metal due to high temperature. It should be melted in hot water or oil and cleaned thoroughly.
② When installing the bearing, a wooden board should be placed on the end face of the bearing, and then a copper rod should be used to gently hit the bearing into the bearing seat. The outer surface of the bearing should be tightly connected to the bearing seat and bearing cover, otherwise the bearing is prone to deformation
The shape or alloy layer may break or even fall off. To ensure a tight fit of the bearing shell, its separation surface should be slightly higher than the separation surface of the bearing seat (usually 0.05-0.mm).
③ The bearing shells are installed into the machine body and are not allowed to move axially or radially. They are generally fixed with locating pins, protruding key stops, or steps. The assembly contact surface of the bearing shell is required to be between 70% and 75%.
3. Installation of rolling bearing seat
① Before installation, the raceway and oil passage of the shaft hole of the stainless steel bearing seat should be cleaned thoroughly, and the bearing seat that needs lubrication should be coated with lubricating oil.
② Do not let dirt fall into the bearing race during installation to avoid damaging the rolling element and rolling surface.
③ Check whether the fit interference of the inner and outer rings of the bearing seat meets the standard as required.
④ When installing and using special tools, apply pressure evenly on the seat ring with a tight fitting surface to prevent the bearing seat from tilting.
⑤ When installing stainless steel bearing seats with large interference, do not hit them violently. Instead, use a press or heating method for assembly.
⑥ After the installation of the bearing seat, it should be checked whether its end face is tightly attached to the bearing surface of the shaft or seat shoulder, whether it rotates flexibly, and whether there is any jamming phenomenon.
